The Continuing Saga of the Medusa Car

The time has come for re-shoots/pick-up shots and anything else we may have missed during the main production cycle. And as luck would have it, it’s mostly shots of the the medusa car.

We have careully kept it a secret but after some serious flame-throwing, late night intimidation sessions and some insane stunt driving by Tony Snegoff. The medusa car exploded. Literally.

Rick at Rad Racing Designs, stepped in when all hope was lost and restored faith to mankind. Faith that good does exist. And faith that ultra-badass, Mega-loud, chrome covered, scary speed machines rule the earth and their father’s name is Rick Cushman.

Principal photography is finished!!!

That’s right you lousy poop man. You said we would never get it done, but apparently it only takes 4 months of almost non-stop shooting to make the best movie ever! ? ?

WE GOT THE MEDUSA CAR!!!!

We are now officially deep in pre-production for Bellflower. We just got our last major prop- the official Medusa Gang Car.

Don’t worry, since the other day when this was shot, we have had a few significant strokes of luck. Hot rod/drag car mechanic Rick Cushman has taken on the project of rebuilding and designing the car. We thought the car was already fast and we told him so, he played with it for a minute then laughed at us.The list of things he is doing to the car is too long to fit here, but we have more behind the scenes coverage with him that we will be posting in a few days. the car is going to be a legitimate race car when we get it back and there is no doubt in my mind that it will kill the entire Coatwolf crew before too long with it’s excessive ungodly power.

A big day. A huge day.

After being locked away in my workshop mostly alone for almost a month now. I finished the top secret new camera. I don’t think i have ever been more excited… or relieved. I feel like a weird sewer rat afraid of people and sunlight hiding in my dirty secret location. But i now have one of the coolest cameras ever.

After much thought, i decided to call it Coatwolf Model II (it’s named after it’s old dirty friend) and what better way to celebrate than take a picture of the camera.

It’s even got it’s own cute little nameplate.

I have already been shooting test shots and i will be posting a short reel of them very soon. For now i pulled just this one still frame from one of the first test shots.

It’s Wyatt, my dear brother. Enjoy.

OK Stranger Music Video

We just finished a music video for the band OK Stranger. Here it is.

It was shot on short notice. The band came over Saturday afternoon and we decided to rip the side off of the old trailer that was used on the Boss of the Glory shoot.

It was a good time. If i recall correctly we went through something like 300 cans of beer over the course of the one afternoon and evening. I was the only sober person when we wrapped. Then we all had fun with beer!

A little tear comes to my eye when i see this picture.
